    Richard Brautigan

     So, you’re curious, huh? No, this isn’t me, but I’ve always wanted to be this picture of Richard Brautigan.

     I was born in this shoe box on 8.10.56 in Elmhurst, IL

    I actually went to college in the Cathedral of Learning, really!

     I did a lot of college like a BA in English and an MA in Education at Allegheny College, I also did an MA in English, a Ph.D. in English Literature, and Ph.D. Certificate in Culture Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. I went to class on the fifth floor of that funky Cathedral of Learning above.

     My wife, Jamie, and sons, Wilson and Beck, all lived in our first house together near Elma, WA. That looks like the road to our house during one of the four floods in three years.

    So, as you know, we all live together in Deer Park. Isn’t our new high school, now under construction, something to behold! Deer Park certainly is a great place to live :-)
