- COE English (Period 1) is a class for Grade 11 and 12 students who have not met the reading and/or writing graduation standard. Students complete a “Collection of Evidence” (COE) which can serve as a state approved alternative to meeting the reading and writing graduation standards. COE English Course Outline
- EWU 101 (Period 2) is a class where students have the opportunity to be concurrently earn one Deer Park High School English credit and five Eastern Washington University quarter credits. Course work is primarily focused on developing college level personal, expository, and argumentative composition skills. EWU 101 Course Outline
- Basic English 2 (Period 5) is a class for Grade 10 students who are at risk not to met the reading and writing graduation standard. Students complete a “Collection of Evidence” (COE) which can serve as a state approved alternative to meeting the reading and writing graduation standards. Completing a COE is also great practice for the Grade 10 HSPE (High School Proficiency Exam). Basic English 2 Course Outline
